Fashion Designer originally from Spain, Miguel García Abad graduated in 2010 in Fashion Design studying between London and Milano Fashion schools. During the same year, he developed a capsule collection inspired by the use of fibre optics and went on to win the Swarovski Elements competition in 2010, establishing a lasting relationship with the Austrian brand. Following his degree, Miguel began working for international brands such as Loewe, Emilio de la Morena and Palomo Spain.
Building on the experience and insight gained working for these esteemed brands, Miguel founded his own brand Miguel Alex in 2012, which he showcased at Milan Fashion Week as one of the winners of the prestigious Next Generation contest, promoted and organised by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana CNMI. 
Since this achievement, Miguel has presented his collections at Milan Fashion Week and in other international events such as Samsung Ego Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, where he showcased his latest collections.
In 2018, he was invited to present his work as part of the exhibition “Fashioned from Nature” at the V&A Museum in London.
More recently, he has been working as fashion designer for London-based brand VienSo and combining his expertise as a fashion designer with teaching by tutoring at Istituto Marangoni Firenze, becoming Programme Leader for Fashion Design.
