CICI CHEUNG is a Chinese avant-garde designer with many years’ experience working in the fashion industry. Shortly after graduating from Istituto Marangoni Milano in 2003, she went back to her hometown of Guangzhou and founded her own brand CICI CHEUNG.
The high quality and original designs of her brand are inspired by historical cultures and foreign craftsmanship. Her creations interpret traditional fashion with a modern twist, aiming to create boundless and classic products with a unique aesthetic value. CICI strives to preserve cultural heritage, emphasising Chinese traditions through a modern utilization of handicraft embroidery, weaving, and printing. It is in this spirit that she dreams to become classic and memorable.
CICI cut her teeth working as a chief designer for a famous luxury brand and acquired rich and varied working experiences in designing luxury accessories. Her professional skills and successful creative ideas also won her the first prize in the CCCLA Shoe Design Contest in 2010.
