Art exhibition for EXPO 2015
Four talented fashion design trainees from The Shanghai Training Centre collaborated in the exhibition ‘Respect For Nature’ held at K11 shopping centre from October 31st to November 2nd, it will be part of 2015 Milan EXPO exhibition series.
The Fashion Design students from Shanghai Campus joined forces with some Chinese artists to create an art manuscript aimed at promoting respect for nature and encouraging modern urban people to take care of the Planet. They worked on details including the choice of colours, decorations and finishing, and also created their own fashion manuscript works for the exhibition.
Istituto Marangoni’s commitment to bridging divides between education and practice by providing its students as many opportunities as possible for them to operate with artists and professionals in the fashion industry, resulted this time in achieving great cross-border art cooperation. The exhibition will be later shown at Shanghai M House, in Beijing and EXPO Milano 2015.
