Patrick Morgan Lecturer·Illustrator
London, February 2014. The exhibition “Material Girl” by Patrick Morgan has had great success at the Début Art’s Coningsby Gallery in London.
A well-known fashion illustrator in England, Patrick Morgan teaches graphic design at Istituto Marangoni London. His long experience as a graphic designer and art director in luxury advertising has allowed him to collaborate with important brands such as Tom Ford, Chanel and Stella McCartney.
Among his recent projects is one dedicated to the design of mundane everyday objects that has furnished him with new insights into fashion and its many nuances. The subjects of his drawings consist of a selection of objects and cult figures of fashion: everything from Louis Vuitton or Yves Saint Laurent’s scarves with models such as Lindsey Wixson and Daphne Groeneveld to sketches of Tom Ford.
Patrick Morgan is an example of Istituto Marangoni’s lecturer: a successful professional capable of bringing into the classroom both professionalism and passion for the world of fashion.
