Istituto Marangoni was the first of its kind to be granted the status of Professional Art School on December 17, 1935. The Ministry of Education later raised the status of the school to Institute (under the Ministerial Decree of February 13,1951).
Nowadays, the value of the diplomas and certificates issued by Istituto Marangoni, whose teaching programmes are highly specialised and exclusive, mainly lies in the reputation that the school has built over seventy years of continuous activity.
