Currently based in Berlin, Catherine Edwardina Hammick works as a freelance Photographer and Fashion Assistant for fashion and art magazines. Here she is in charge of supporting Fashion Editors and developing editorial content, as well as publishing online stories and interviews. Also, as a freelance photographer, she collaborates with IMPOSSIBLE Project German film company, thanks to which she has been able to specialize in the creation of unique Polaroid diaries for both menswear and womenswear Fashion Weeks. Her latest Fashion Week Polaroid Diary series was curated for LOVE Magazine. She graduated in Fashion Business from Istituto Marangoni London Fashion School in 2015 and did several placements during her studies, as she joined the Marketing Department of the DAZED Group for a period and also achieved several certificates at Central Saint Martins. Soon after her graduation, Catherine started to develop her career in Media as an Editorial Assistant and a Photographer; some of her job experiences include working at TOM FORD Studios as Showroom Receptionist and Showroom Assistant in their London headquarters, as well as at MATTE Projects Creative Agency in New York, where, as a Junior Fashion Account, she developed two national ad campaigns for renowned American brands and also assisted on the digital strategy for Helmut Lang. Catherine is a young multifaceted creative with a passion for Fashion Media. Having built a large network of valuable friends and contacts in the places where she has been living and working so far, her dream is to bring together associates and acquaintances on creative projects from around the world.
