Italian Designer Maria Francesca Pepe has been running her own fashion jewellery brand since 2007 and her creations, highly sought-after within the fashion and celebrity set, make up one of the leading Jewellery labels in the international market. She graduated in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni Milano in 2003 and started her career as a freelance womenswear designer working with stylish fashion labels as Blumarine, Luciano Soprani and Kookai. She then decided to move to London to complete a Master’s Degree in Womenswear at the Central Saint Martins College. Here she gained popularity among press and buyers as her degree collection was showcased at the London Fashion Week in 2007. As a result, while working alongside designer Jens Laugesen and at Vivienne Westwood's for some time, Maria Francesca understood that was the best time to launch her eponymous brand MFP Jewellery. The brand was initially supported by Lulu Kennedy’s Fashion East and British Fashion Council’s NewGen talent identification initiatives. Maria Francesca Pepe’s avant-garde fashion jewellery brand, a mix of high quality Italian art-craft and inventive London-style, was first introduced in Paris for Spring-Summer 2008. MFP creations are entirely made by Italian artisans and are appreciated by young Millennials tribes, and sophisticated, fashion-aware women alike. MFP accolades include a British Fashion Award nomination in 2009, and the Italian Vogue Talents Award in 2011. The brand, which boasts collaborations with Roksanda Ilincic, Victoria's Secret, and Joshua Sanders, among others, has been endorsed by international press, celebrities and a number of specialized magazines and stores including Glamour UK, Editorialist.com, and Harvey Nichols UK lifestyle store.
