The 2017 Paris Fashion Show
Istituto Marangoni presents The 2017 Paris Fashion Show. The celebration of emerging talents continues in Paris on July 4, 2017, from 5pm, at Garage 48, in the basement of the Paris School of Fashion at 48 rue de Miromesnil.
Carefully selected by a jury led by Maurizio Pecoraro, Istituto Marangoni’s International Fashion Chair, among the young Fashion Design graduates of the Paris campus, Luca Bellavia, Ophelie Berton, Oliver Cederquist, Fatima Danielsson, Iryna Demianchuk, Jinah Jung, Helene Lennon, Lucia Miterli, Dorothy Qin and Nadja Vogt are the Best final year students chosen to present their capsule collections within the Graduate Fashion Show in the French capital. As usual, the six looks designed by each of the ten students will be showed off in the presence of a large audience of industry experts and fashion professionals. These talented students have the chance to exhibit and promote, for the first time ever, the potential they have developed with passion and dedication during their training, a fundamental step in the search for their place in the world of work. Iryna Demyanchuk has been appointed 2017 Designer of the Year.
The excitement for the debut show of the protagonists of tomorrow’s fashion world goes along with the awareness of having all the tools necessary to shine in such a fascinating, but also demanding and ever-changing market as the Fashion System. The direct contact with fashion industry professionals, as well as the continuous support offered to students during the training years, is a distinguishing feature that makes Istituto Marangoni an excellence institution for the training of fashion specialists, with a constant commitment to promote and enhance the talent the School has been nurturing for more than 80 years.
