Istituto Marangoni and Vogue Italia celebrate young talents with an immersive experience into the creative realms of Fashion, Art and Design.

Istituto Marangoni, since 1935 one of the leading players offering higher education in the fields of fashion, design and art., in collaboration with Vogue Italia, talents promoter and the most authoritative voice when it comes to innovative trends in the fashion world, will launch the digital platform ‘House of Istituto Marangoni’, an extraordinary showcase that celebrates the talents of all the schools of the Group through its contemporary creativity and a deeply international DNA.

The digital platform will be launched during the Milano Fashion Week. It will be a unique chance to present the graduates projects of Fashion (Fashion Design, Fashion Business and Fashion Styling), Art and Design and the fashion movies that illustrate the best collections of the third-year students.

A virtual and interactive experience to share with an international audience Istituto Marangoni’s world in a way that it’s unique and impactful, with a strong contemporary aesthetic.
House of Istituto Marangoni, a technological “house” where the languages of fashion, art and design influence each other generating a creative output that represents the Italianess embodied by the School’s academic method, is also a celebration of the 85th Anniversary of the School that moved its first steps in Milan with the mission to train creatives and the Made in Italy savoir faire.

On September 28th will take place a preview of the platform for the press and a selected audience and, later, it will be open to everyone and constantly updated in the following months with new contents, virtual talks and interactive events.

Moreover, the students will have the chance to review their portfolios and CVs with professionals selected by Vogue Italia.

The platform will also include exclusive interviews with Alumni, world-famous designers and creative personalities, such as Giambattista Valli, Ibraihm Kamara, Tom Dixon, Sølve Sundsbø, who participated in the Enhancing The Future project, a unique series of talks addressed to more than 4000 students of the nine schools of the group, but also to the an international audience interested in the on going changes taking place due to the pandemic and how this changes could shape a new form of creativity.

The platform will be constantly updated with new contents related to schools’ fashion shows and other other events produced by the network o schools.

The first one, at the beginning of October, will be the Milano Fashion School with the fashion show of the 2019/2020 best designers, then the fashion show of the Firenze School and the Degree Show of the Milano Design School. London will launch the opening of a new design area of the school with a panel in partnership with Elle Décor.

On October 27th will be the turn of the Shenzhen School to present the best creations during the Shenzhen Fashion Week and, right after the Paris School will reveal the students works through an authentic fashion movie.

At the end of November, the Mumbai School will have the students walk down the catwalk and, to conclude this creativity world tour, on December 10th the Shanghai School will hold a show to celebrate the new location in the prestigious ‘The Roof’.

Istituto Marangoni, as international young talents mentor, together with the launch of the digital platform, will set up a contest that will involve all the young passionate about fashion, art and design to develop a project focused on sustainability and have the chance to gain one of the 14 scholarships.

A special project that once again reaffirms the mission to mentor the new generation of creative minds
