italian culture exhibition
For the first time since Istituto Marangoni and Chonqing University College of Arts (CQUCA) began their collaboration, the two universities have been working together on an exhibition showcasing Italian culture.
Opening on October 16th 2013, the exhibition traces the footsteps of Italian culture from the Renaissance to the present day. A large section is dedicated to training activities and to the opportunities provided to Chinese students by the Istituto Marangoni schools in Milano, London, Paris and Shanghai.
Two high-level seminars were held by Interior Design Senior Professor of the Milano school of fashion, Marcella Bricchi: ” Where shall design go?” which dealt with industrial design and new trends in interior design, and ” Soul of design”, a seminar on Istituto Marangoni’s special teaching method.
The collaboration between those two centres of excellence, Chongqing University, established in 1929, and Istituto Marangoni, aims to promote the IM brand among Chinese students.
By using tools such as academic exchanges and by sharing educational resources, both schools want to achieve their shared goal – enhancing new talents in fashion and design.
