On the stage with Marangoni / Playlist

The creations of the 2019 best designers of the Milan school showed on the stage of the Teatro Dal Verme on June 19 during the Marangoni / Playlist event, a disruptive and irreverent contamination between fashion and music.

The collections of the ten students of the Fashion Design course, selected by an authoritative jury of industry professionals and journalists who were able to carefully evaluate the approximately 200 initial proposals, took turns on the stage along the live show of the new emerging promise of the trap scene Chadia Rodriguez, special guest and first female artist to appear on the cover of a Spotify Italia rap playlist.

Each designer presented on the catwalk six outfits, the result of the research and experimentation carried out during the three-year period of study and that ended with the realization of projects able to offer a look and a reflection on the trends that will come.

Pietro Fadda, Ottavia Molinari and Qiying Tang presented the menswear proposals, while Yutao Song, Francesca Vinelli, Jonas Chistov, Zhenni Kuang, Xiaoyuan Tan, Maria Lucci and Sarah Oliveira unveiled on the catwalk the outfits dedicated to women.

Among the ten finalists, the members of the jury also chose the “Fashion Designer of the Year 2019” – the work that most of all was able to strike for attention to detail and vision and that was revealed at the end of the show – title that this year has been awarded to the young designer Pietro Fadda.
