slowear · “an open window on talents”
Istituto Marangoni was selected among the best fashion and design International Schools to represent the common ‘Slowear’ values customizing La Rinascente’s windows in Milan during the Men’s Fashion Week that is taking place in June 2014.
Slowear, group which includes the 4 specialist labels, Incotex, Zanone, Montedoro, and Glanshirt, in partneship with L’Uomo Vogue – magazine of men’s style directed by Franca Sozzani, has customized the windows of Italy’s most prestigious department stores through the creative concept of promising students.
Istituto Marangoni was asked to work on a specific company, Glanshirt, a casual wear brand par excellence. The students, Eva Mancuso and Jolita Manolova, carried out the project by setting up 2 of the 8 La Rinascente’s windows. One showcases the Slowear philosophy of quality, heritage-inspired design. The other window displays the concept of the stylist shirts brand Glanshirt with a timeless, durable answer to Fast Fashion.
The windows were on display from June 17th until June 25th, 2014.
