Fashion Reloaded: What’s next in 2021?

Two days of events in a full digital format to discover fashion trends 2021 during the #MFW.

Istituto Marangoni • The School of Fashion, during the Milano Fashion Week, invites students to the Front Row to make them live the most important week of the year like a real insider.

The event, now in its 4th edition, this year in a totally digital format, will face the topic of “Fashion Reloaded: What’s next in 2021?”. The School will become an exceptional observatory on the trends that are going to take place throughout the year just started.

On 25th and 26th February 2021, the School will virtually open its doors to important players in the sector, in an atmosphere of discussion and sharing that will also involve its students and Alumni.

During this special week, Istituto Marangoni will become a privileged point of view of the Fashion week: it will be possible to attend the main fashion show reviewed by professionals of the sector.


The first appointment is on February 25th at 11am with Marco Rambaldi, Designer e Founder of the homonym Brand who will share his point of view on Fashion and creativity. What are the Fashion Trends not to be missed in the next months? in a conversation led by Angelo Ruggeri, Istituto Marangoni Tutor.

At 12pm will be the turn of Giulia Torelli, Influencer and Radio Speaker, Paola Nanelli, Executive Director @Pulse Advertising Italy and Chiara Zampini, Worldwide Image Events and Promotional Activities Manager @ Miu Miu & IM Alumni, who will discuss the most relevant topic than ever: Social Media & Fashion Brands. To be or not to be social in 2021?, moderated by Simona Ironico, Fashion Business Programme Leader.

The conversation will follow with a talk at 3.30pm focused on Fashion Trends 2021. What are the Fashion Trends not to be missed in the next months? and will see the involvement of Mariella Milani, Fashion Journalist and Federica Salto, Journalist & IM Alumni, moderated by Riccardo Rubino, Fashion Styling Tutor.

The last and most awaited appointment will be the analysis of the Fendi Fashion show by Kim Jones, through the conceptual and critical comments of Antonio Patruno, Fashion Design Programme Leader.

To inaugurate the second day of Front Row will be the Fashion Designer Luca Magliano, Founder @Magliano who will tell us about the research activity at the heart of the creative process of his Brand now in hype among the new generations, within the panel entitled New Normal panel in Fashion. What is the impact of Digital Fashion Shows on brands and people?.

To share their experience struggling with their first collection will be also the 10 Best designers of Istituto Marangoni, who will virtually meet buyers, future talents and professionals of Industry to talk about Unveiled. What’s the creative process behind Istituto Marangoni 10 best Designers 2020 collections?

With the guide of Andrea BatillaCreative Strategist, Fashion Writer, IM Alumni & IM Tutor, moderated by Anna RoggCareer Service & Industry Relationship Manager, the 10 Best designers 2020 will tell about the concept and the development of their own collection, made in the last past months, before graduating.

Afterwards, at 4.30pm together with Andrea Batilla we will talk about: Talent, new jobs, selection processes and skills to consider if you dream of a career in the Fashion industry.

The last appointment is at 5.30pm, with Antonio Patruno for the analysis of the Prada by Miuccia Prada & Raf Simons fashion show.
