Alex Oproiu, Romanian designer born in Bucharest, currently shares his time between his home city and Milano. He started his education studying Finance, going so far as obtaining a PhD from the Academy of Economic Studies, but design and architecture has always been his passion his passion.
Istituto Marangoni was a natural choice, as it provided Alex the means to obtain all necessary technical skills and knowledge in a very short time, with attention on luxury and in-depth research methods. Alex graduated in 2017 at The Milano School of Design, choosing Interior Design as specialization.
He has been running his own studio since 2005, with a focus on public spaces, while also being involved as a project manager in the development of several projects ranging from scientific centers to luxury boutique hotels.
This rich experience has finally led to the desire of pursuing formal education in the field of design: he is still involved with the school, running the Istituto Marangoni Information Centre in Romania.
