Chia-Hung Cheng is a young emerging talent of the Chinese fashion scene who attended the Master’s in Fashion Design Womenswear at Istituto Marangoni Milano, graduating in 2015.
Already graduated in Fashion Design from the University of Shin Chien, Taipei, Cheng began his career in 2008 working as an assistant designer with Goji Lin fashion Co., Ltd. in Taipei; in the same year, he also won the Taiwan fashion design award, the most prestigious of fashion competitions in Asia organized by the Taiwan Textile Federation.
Between 2010 and 2012 he worked as a designer with Machiavelli International Corp., Ltd., a company strongly focused on China’s fashion marketing. MOCA Taipei has hosted him as a fashionista at the Contemporary Art Museum in the city and he was a finalist of the Bilbao International Art & Fashion contest in 2014 and 2016. He currently works as a designer for El Corte Ingles in Madrid, the city where in 2015 he attended a course in Fashion Business at ISEM Fashion Business School.
