In love with black and shoes, Cindy Karmoko entered the fashion world without even knowing it when, at the age of 9, she would look at the pictures of her grandma and love her style, or ask her mother to buy her boots. Her life ‘evolves’ around fashion and she draws inspiration from people surrounding her.
She started her personal blog in 2012 and is currently regarded as one of the most original fashion bloggers in her country of origin, Indonesia. While she was attending the Fashion Design course at the Milano School of Fashion, she started working with Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia, which improved her knowledge of fashion trends, beauty, culture and style. After majoring in Fashion Design, she joined, and often won, a number of fashion competitions, one of which also got her a scholarship for a Master’s degree in Fashion Styling and Visual Merchandising.
Cindy then embarked on a glamorous experience collaborating with L’Officiel Italia, as well as with several brands in Milan before returning to Indonesia and work with more than 200 top brands as a fashion consultant, top content creator, media coordinator and contributor for Indonesian magazines. Dior, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Lancôme, Tommy Hilfigher; these are just some of the leading fashion houses she partnered with as her craving for travel grew stronger. Studying fashion overseas has helped her explore different attitudes and discover different lifestyles, which gives her the chance to regularly perceive a different taste of fashion and styling, duly featured on her blog and social media pages.
Under the motto “Knowledge is power”, Cindy soaks in art, music, culture and lifestyle like a sponge, so as not to miss out on opportunities for growth as she develops into a smart and talented fashion specialist. Following on this progress, she currently runs a consulting agency under her own name and is planning to launch a few limited capsule collections in the near future.
