Donato Vitone

Accessories designer of Apulian origins with a professionally crafted and skillfully developed background, Donato Vitone joined Karl Lagerfeld’s creative team in 2016 and has lived and worked in Amsterdam ever since. Among his early professional experiences was the collaboration with one of the brands he has always admired, Saint Laurent, thanks to which he has perfected his digital illustration and rendering techniques working in the accessories department in Milan. Immediately after graduating in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni Milano in 2014, he started an internship with Andrea Pompilio, where he supported the design team, and then moved on to Sara Battaglia, where he improved and refined his skills by undertaking a new path in the accessories world, which brought him to discover his interest in leather goods. In his senior year at Istituto Marangoni, Vitone participated in the “Next Generation” contest organized by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. Being one of the finalists at this prestigious fashion competition marked his first important achievement into building a successful career in the international fashion industry.
