Isabel Henao

Isabel Henao is known as one of the most influential designers on Latin American Fashion scene.

She graduated in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni Milano Fashion School in 2003, and had already presented her first collection in 2002, showing right from the beginning a refined artistic sensitivity and a strong character oriented towards the experimental use of shapes and materials. Her trademarks are both a refined style and a careful attention to details, and she regards Fashion as an ‘art form which comes to life when brought into contact with a body.’

This young designer from Colombia creates feminine pieces for women who reject excesses and yearn for unique garments. Her creations are particularly appreciated by the First Lady of Colombia María Clemencia de Santos. Her collections are presented at prestigious events, including Milano and Madrid Fashion Weeks and Colombiamoda, where she shares the stage with designers of world renown as Carolina Herrera and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.
