Nicola Brognano

Nicola Brognano is a young designer born in Calabria, South of Italy, in 1990. Following his passion for Fashion, he moves to Milan where he studies Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni Milano. After graduating in 2011, Nicola immediately joins the prestigious Giambattista Valli Maison. His talent and skills quickly emerge within the prêt-à-porter and haute couture divisions of the Maison and are noticed by Dolce & Gabbana that hire the young designer to work on the Alta Moda line.

2015 is an important year for Nicola, as he launches his eponymous brand Brognano with its feminine, romantic and eclectic feel. Nicola plays with the reinterpretation of men’s daywear through feminine details and fabrics as to explore two opposite worlds that can be merged together.

Very soon, Nicola’s creations become the affirmation of his talent which is confirmed in June 2016 when he wins the Who is On Next? contest, a project organized by Altaroma in collaboration with Vogue Italia, whose aim is the scouting and promotion of young creative talents on the national and international fashion scene.
