NY graduated at Istituto Marangoni London in 2013 and took on the role of project executive in TICT Creative.
She launched her own brand Mad Hands in 2012 in partnership with Rain, a girl who shares the same enthusiasm and admiration for traditional handcrafted art. Mad Hands embodies the concepts of a liberal lifestyle and respect for traditional artisanship. The variety of inspirational sources and subtle hand-made work found within their collections recall the serenity and carefree nature of their childhood spent within the ethnic minority areas.
As an increasing number of people tend to prefer bespoke handmade products over cheap, generic alternatives, their love and interest for cultural heritage is leading them to create a resourceful platform for slower fashion artists, less likely to succumb to cheap mass productions and rather make “Made in China” a trusted label recognized as a synonym for quality.
