Mastering the skills required to run a thriving luxury business and developing a versatile mindset: the new Global Master for Luxury Business Professionals is the ultimate choice for ambitious, success-oriented fashion and business students.
Istituto Marangoni and the Polimi Graduate School of Management recently worked together to launch a postgraduate programme focused on digital transformation, supply chain sustainability and the financial aspects of the luxury industry. Two leaders in their respective fields, the schools combined their business and luxury expertise in a hybrid approach blending in-class and online learning.
Along with the best practices in fashion, design and business, the immersive 12-month course will also tap into the latest digital technologies, leading e-commerce platforms, and hands-on, creative experiences.
During the first module of the course, participants have the chance to deep-dive in the luxury world, approaching it both from a brand and a consumer perspective. The unique teaching approach, focused on a broad and cosmopolitan attitude, allows participants to learn more about the universal concept of Luxury and its Industry. Through a wide-ranging introduction, they walk in the footsteps of classic European luxury and get to have a closer look at the magnificent milestones of the past.
Value in luxury keeps evolving. Starting from this notion, the second module is masterfully developed and steeped in high-quality content, providing a 360° vision of the evolution and adjustments that are happening in the luxury world. Participants get to be clued-up about design management and collection development practices peculiar of the luxury industry, as well as becoming also proficient in supply chain, marketing, and brand management.
Innovating means disrupting with the past, as new business models are more and more employed in luxury companies. While new scenarios are taking hold, the meaning of innovation for luxury is being re-shaped, together with the digital experience that comes with it for the final user. Throughout this module, participants strongly focus on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), as they grasp the fundamentals of today’s market and examine significant case studies.
