Alt image Anna Vo is an ambitious self-starter always ready to embrace new challenges and contribute to meet the needs arising from customers’ lifestyles. She studied Marketing in the USA, International Business in the UK and Fashion in Italy, she is fluent in 5 languages and has been running her own fashion label for 7 years now, making garments that stand out for being stylish yet functional at the same time. Nicknamed ‘The Fashion Signorina’, Anna Vo has grown up alongside her mother, renowned Vietnamese fashion designer Thuy Nga, becoming accustomed to the atmosphere of fashion in such a natural way that, after her Marketing and Business studies in San Diego and Oxford, she was ready to pursue a career in Fashion in the fashion capital of the world, with a Master’s degree in Fashion & Accessories Design completed at Istituto Marangoni Milano in 2011. As a student here, Anna Vo had  the opportunity to be an assistant for shows by well-known brands including Giorgio Armani, Bottega Veneta, Albino and Etro. Moreover, she has been recently appointed Istituto Marangoni Brand Ambassador, acting as an example to current students as well as sharing her expertise with those who would like to follow her same path. Although she is currently involved in the fashion industry also as Creative Director at Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ) in Vietnam, where she is responsible for creating concept, ideas and visions of 3 main brands of the company, Vo founded her namesake fashion label in 2012, with headquarters in Sai Gon, Vietnam, and showrooms in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Milano and Boston. European, more specifically Italian style influences most of her designs. All fabrics are imported from Italy and Paris. Her garments usually feature clean lines and simple patterns, although she draws inspiration from many different sources. The central theme of the brand is simplicity and practicality, a sense of style with a distinctive edge that transcends fashion. A great number of Vietnamese celebrities and politicians are often seen in Anna Vo’s designs and the designer has been frequently acknowledged by both local and international press, including L’Officiel Vietnam and L’Officiel India, Elle Vietnam, and Harper’s Bazaar, among others. She was “Designer of the Year” for Dep Magazine Masquerade Ball in 2013 and received the Italian Chamber of Commerce Excellence Award in 2014, while in 2015 and 2016 she was selected to showcase her collections at Elle Fashion Show, Vietnam Fashion Week and Boston Northshore Fashion Show.
