Something truly special took place this Monday evening at Zhejiang Sci‑Tech University’s Linping Campus in Hangzhou, China, where the first cohort of undergraduate students admitted through the national Gaokao exam from the Fashion Design College of Istituto Marangoni, Zhejiang Sci‑Tech University celebrated their graduation.
Fashion & Accessories Design Final Collections
This milestone marks a historic moment for the Sino‑Foreign Joint College established in 2022 in partnership with Istituto Marangoni Paris, as students from the Bachelor’s programme in Fashion & Accessories Design presented their final collections during the graduation fashion show hosted on campus.
The collections revealed an outstanding level of creativity and maturity, blending contemporary design, innovative construction techniques, and strong Chinese cultural influences with an international aesthetic. After four years of intensive collaboration, the event symbolised the successful convergence of European fashion education and Chinese creative identity, resulting in a shared visual language rooted in storytelling, experimentation, and professional awareness.
Digital Media Design Projects
Equally compelling were the final projects developed by students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media Design. Their work explored advanced digital narratives and socially engaged innovation, ranging from apps designed to support pet disabilities to game concepts inspired by the legend of the Ceramic Tower, alongside several other projects conceived for real‑world application.
