Roberto Riccio, Group Managing Director of Istituto Marangoni, and Valérie Berdah-Levy, Director of The Paris School of Fashion, hosted a press conference on Monday, March 14 at L'Hotel les Bains, in the French capital, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Istituto Marangoni Paris. Flanked by two alumni of the school, they have talked of the school's extraordinary achievements in ten years of teaching fashion and luxury, as well as announce its numerous upcoming projects for 2016. These included events focusing on its international vocation and strong Italian identity, developing students' creativity starting from the concept of 'Italianness' - mixing the rich heritage of Italian craftsmanship, strong aesthetic references in Italian art, fashion and design, and all the characteristics that make Made in Italy renowned in the world. Also celebrating Istituto Marangoni Paris' history of excellence, the school premises in 48 rue de Miromesnil, 75008, hosted an exhibition of ten outfits designed by students of the Fashion Design course, ten pictures shot by Fashion Styling course apprentices, and ten business plans made by as many students in Fashion Business. The opening event took place on Tuesday, March 15, followed by a live performance by Kiddy Smile, the famous Parisian DJ, setting a relaxed and festive mood for this very special anniversary. The show open to the public starting Wednesday, March 16, offering the perfect occasion for the most talented students to showcase their work to an international public of specialized press and professionals in the industry, in accordance with Istituto Marangoni’s customary teaching method that puts them in direct contact with reality.
