The Milano School of Design launches a series of seminars and talks in collaboration with influential professionals in the field. The IM Design Talks, dedicated to Istituto Marangoni’s young talents, are also open to a limited number of external design enthusiasts and will offer useful insights into the world of design, best practices and thoughts on the future of the various disciplines. The lectures scheduled for the 2018/2019 academic year will see the presence of important guests, from artist Moritz Weldemeyer and architect Piero Lissoni to Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola, and will last until May 2019. Furthermore, the school will host a number of small panels with journalists and industry experts. Odoardo Fioravanti, Mario Trimarchi and Maddalena Casadei will discuss project design, Gioviano Sgarlata will talk about jewellery design, Luca Morena along with Anna Zinola will dive into Big Data, Cristina Morozzi will focus on the evolution of design, Atelier Biagetti’s Alberto Biagetti and Laura Baldassari will discuss art and design, while Vicky Syriopoulou (Oykos Group) will talk about Interior Design tied to colours, light and matter. The IMdesignTalks series will end with the special participation of Istituto Marangoni Alumni Giulio Masciocchi, Terence Coton, Matteo Agati, Gustavo Martini, protagonists of the Prisma Project, who will talk about their new project, which will be presented at the next Salone del Mobile.
