The search for a new type of craftsmanship associated with experimentation and avant-garde movements, and a strong synergy between the art and fashion worlds, in the continuous search for a highly innovative boost, have been the distinctive values of Istituto Marangoni Firenze since its launch.
The School lives into the Digital Renaissance, a movement that shows a radical paradigm change in the artistic practices of the contemporary world, triggered by the new possibilities offered by digital technologies.
With the aim of enhancing the talent of new emerging creatives in this area, Istituto Marangoni Firenze has launched the REN@ISSANCE TALKS project with iD Italy, an editorial platform that is a source of constant inspiration in fashion culture: virtual talks in which a professional of Istituto Marangoni Firenze and Gloria Maria Cappelletti, Editor at Large of i-D Italy, confront each other with today’s most brilliant insiders of the fashion and art industry to discuss a new Renaissance and reflect on the possible hybridizations between art, fashion and digital.
After Andy Picci, Ines Alpha and The Fabricant, the fourth and final appointment features special guests who are rewriting the future of contemporary fashion publishing day after day: iD Editor-in-Chief Alastair McKimm and i-D Global Fashion Director iD Carlos Nazario, in conversation with Ivana Conte, Director of Education of Istituto Marangoni Firenze.
The virtual talk will be published on 10th December at 5PM within the IGTV of the official Instagram account of Istituto Marangoni Firenze and will be a source of inspiration for all emerging talents of today, to motivate them to enhance their creativity in a proactive way, exploiting the technology with awareness, creating connections between ideas, worlds and people.
