An Italian Luxury Experience for Master’s students

Istituto Marangoni continues to support the interaction of business and fashion through dedicated initiatives for students around the world. 

In April this year, Master’s students at ESDEN Business School in Spain had the opportunity to attend the tailored short course “Fashion Collections Design and Architecture - Italian Luxury Fashion Experience” at Istituto Marangoni Milano. 

Now in its 9th edition, the programme is an immersive journey into the Italian fashion and design system. Participants had the opportunity to learn through a practical approach blending traditional in-person classroom methods with tours of companies and museums, enhancing fluid learning from theory to practice. Participants were divided into working groups every day to develop a travelogue of their experience. Given the success of the previous edition, this year’s travelogue was shared again on social networks (Instagram and TikTok) using digital content and creating a dedicated profile presented during the last lesson of the course.

This experience allowed ESDEN students to visit exclusive venues, including the museums in Milano ‘Italian Design Museum’ at ‘Triennale Milano’ and ‘Armani Silos Museum’; and the companies ‘Ratti Foundation’ a textile museum and factory in Como, and the tannery ‘Bonaudo’, where students could see the process of manufacturinbg leather.

After nine years of successful partnering, Istituto Marangoni continues to value this critical collaboration with ESDEN, one of Spain’s most prestigious international business schools, hoping to foster interdisciplinary innovation by broadening business students’ knowledge of the fashion and design industries.
