Supporting talents in a constant and innovative way throughout their educational and professional journey in fashion is one of the main goals of Istituto Marangoni, and this is the reason why the Milano School of Fashion has been selected by Mittelmoda International Lab as main partner of the fifth edition of Mittelmoda District, the project for high schools focused on fashion in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. On last December 14^th, over 450 high-school students took part in the event, which consisted of talks, reports and, most importantly, the presentation of the 18 projects that reached the final of the Mittelmoda District contest for fashion & accessories design, selected by a jury of experts led by Matteo Marzotto and representatives of Gazel. The students then had the opportunity to attend a very special runway show: Nicola Ferorelli, Emma Raphaelle Rotenberg, Hu Xin, Chiara Columbu, Giorgia Gentile and Giovanni Edoardo Piazzalunga, talented alumni of Istituto Marangoni Milano, showcased their capsule collection, developed at the end of their three-year programme in Fashion Design. Following the fashion show, the jury awarded the three winners of the 2017 edition for styling, texture and pattern-making.
