On November 27^th Istituto Marangoni London hosted the launch of “Fashion Writing and Criticism” the new book written by Sanda Miller, Istituto Marangoni’s tutor for the Fashion Design and Fashion Styling courses since 2011. Sanda Miller, backed by her publisher Anna Wright from Bloomsbury, explained the development of fashion writing and how it might be improved and applied in the industry. “Demonstrating how the tradition of criticism has developed and how this knowledge can be applied to fashion, enabling students to acquire the methods and proper vocabulary to be active critics themselves in the fascinating and changeable field of fashion: this is the ambitious goal of my book” explains the author.
