On April 12th, 2015, students’ collections from Istituto Marangoni Training Centre in Shanghai, one of the most prestigious emerging fashion capitals in the world, have been presented at Shanghai Fashion Week 2015. This is an exclusive international showcase for the emerging talents of Shanghai Training Centre, in a region – Pacific Asia – where the fashion industry and Made in Italy taste are growing at tremendous pace. The participation in Shanghai Fashion Week is a major result for Istituto Marangoni since the Group has decided, in 2012, to invest resources in the new emerging fashion capital by opening the Shanghai Training Centre, excellence fashion institution aimed at training young people who wish to enter the world of fashion and luxury. Roberto Riccio, Istituto Marangoni Group Managing Director, has expressed his honour and pride for this new opportunity: “We are glad to offer our designers such visibility in one of the most exciting emerging fashion capitals, Shanghai, and hope this experience will be a significant springboard for their future.”
