raeburn’s conference
British Fashion Designer Christopher Raeburn, renowned worldwide for his ethically aware and innovative collections from re-appropriated military fabrics, held a conference for the students of Istituto Marangoni London on April 14th, 2015.
Christopher Raeburn’s session was a great opportunity to acknowledge Christopher Raeburn’s pioneering ‘Remade in England’ work, and help Istituto Marangoni aspiring fashion designers to build and develop their future career.
Author of the motto "Remember the four R's - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Raeburn," the young British entrepreneur launched his namesake label in 2008, immediately standing out for the utilisation of decommissioned military stocks of fabrics to create stylish, functional garments crafted with the utmost care. With a sales network of more than 60 retailers all over the world, Raeburn has received extensive media coverage both nationally and internationally so far. His latest collections will be presented during the next London Fashion Week, so this is a significant moment to get to know him closer. Christopher Raeburn talked with students about how he built up and brought to success his company, so as to share with them his secrets to a successful career in the Fashion industry.
