This masterclass, led by Michela Guasco, Fashion Styling Programme Leader, will examine the fashion stylist’s role as a cultural curator and visual journalist. It considers styling as a critical practice that engages with broader questions of identity, representation, and power.
Through the analysis of editorial work and fashion imagery, we will explore how stylists articulate visual narratives, and how they contribute to shaping — and sometimes subverting — dominant visual codes within fashion media.
At the end of the masterclass, there will be a portfolio review session, where participants will have the opportunity to present their creative ideas and receive personalized feedback from our expert instructor. This is a great chance to get direct feedback and refine your creative approach. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enhance your work and take your skills to the next level!
The event wil take place at Auditorio de Academia Dante Alighieri, Calle Marsella 39, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 Ciudad de México.
