Starting in September 2025, Istituto Marangoni Milano will embark on a new chapter in its history by relocating to the stunning Palazzo Turati. Situated in the heart of Milan, between the Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, and the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, this neo-Renaissance architectural gem, consisting of five floors and over 9,000 square meters, was built between 1873 & 1876 by architect Enrico Combi.

Istituto Marangoni provides a diverse range of inspiring undergraduate and postgraduate programmes covering Fashion Design, Fashion Styling and Fashion Business, Fragrances & Cosmetics and Beauty, and Luxury Hospitality for students to succeed and thrive in a first-rate educational environment.

With an approach blending function and aesthetics, participants incorporate fashion trends with bicultural aesthetics, analyse clothing and accessory manufacturing and the couture language versus ready-to-wear. Learners progress through the entire design process from fashion illustration, pattern making, pattern cutting, construction and prototyping to the finished garment or product. 

Combining a wide array of essential business skills and knowledge with the latest industry developments and issues, Fashion Business courses are fine-tuned and specific to the evolving fashion system. Learners develop business acumen, covering luxury brand management, buying, merchandising and marketing, phygital retail, algorithms defining style, and sustainability, among others.

Fashion Styling courses explore the concepts behind image making, helping students express a story or mood through style and triggering innovative ideas. Learners develop a style portfolio incorporating photography and a creative vision; they investigate trends such as AI, extended intelligence, and digital communication alongside photo shoot planning, photo-editing and multimedia videomaking.

The Luxury Hospitality area offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes focused on luxury hospitality management and customer experience. Programmes prepare future professionals to design and manage high‑end guest experiences across the luxury sector.

The Fragrances & Cosmetics area offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes focused on the product lifecycle of luxury beauty brands. Courses combine creativity, branding, marketing and management to prepare professionals for the global beauty industry.

The Beauty Image area explores visual culture and creative communication within the contemporary beauty industry. Programmes are developed in collaboration with selected industry partners, including L’Oréal.

These full-time postgraduate programmes provide highly specialised skills to support participants’ careers in the fashion, luxury and creative industries. They are aimed at those who have already completed an undergraduate degree and want to learn more or professionals who want to widen their knowledge of a particular topic.

These courses explore the techniques and theory related to fashion, design, styling, and business, meeting the needs of those with limited time or participants with little or no prior experience or relevant studies.

Courses for Professionals offer short, highly focused programmes designed for professionals and managers in the creative and luxury industries. The courses support upskilling and reskilling through a practical approach combining strategic vision, digital tools and industry expertise.

Semester courses provide an opportunity to see the world, experience new cultures, learn a new language, visit neighbouring countries, and make new lifelong friends.
