Tianyi Li presented her Tianyi Li S/S19 collection at the prestigious Sala delle Cariatidi in Milan’s Palazzo Reale on Thursday 20th September. The Milan Fashion week is approaching and the city is now preparing to preview once again what the fashion luminaries have imaged the next spring/summer season will look like. So as the industry and fashion enthusiasts make plans to attend the most important catwalks, Istituto Marangoni is proud to announce the presence of one of its most talented alumni, emerging designer Tianyi Li, who will showcase her exquisite S/S 19 collection among the big names of Fashion. Light, space and movement; these are the elements that emerge from Tianyi Li S/S19 collection. A collection that experiments with unusual cuts, slashed surfaces and raw pleats to create unique surface textures. Deconstructed tailored jackets and voluminous baby doll silhouettes fuse with hues of ivories, oysters and fresh pastel tones and surfaces are layered with chantilly lace and embellished with beads, sequins and pearls. Tianyi has been selected by a renowned jury - that included Riccardo Grassi, Founder and Owner of Riccardo Grassi Showroom and Massimiliano De Marianis, Senior Buyer Luisaviaroma - as the winner of the second edition of I’M Alumni Collections ®evolution , a one-of-a-kind project enhancing Istituto Marangoni’s talents. For this second edition, Istituto Marangoni has teamed up with Grazia Bagnaresi, Swarovski, Loriblu and Luisaviaroma, who have respectively provided expert guidance throughout the design and production process, enhanced Tianyi’s accessories with the finest precision-cut crystals, luxurious handmade shoes to compliment the outfits and offered a luxurious platform to sell the collection. Therefore Tianyi has been supported and mentored by prestigious names within the fashion industry at every stage of the project.
