Istituto Marangoni is ready to kick off the third edition of its unique incubator I’M Alumni Collections ®evolution aimed at launching talented fashion designers during the Milano Fashion Week. This year, the name that will shine on the Milanese catwalks will be that of Nynne Kunde, who graduated from Istituto Marangoni London in 2018. The London-based Danish designer has been selected as the winner of this year’s contest that attracted more than 30 applications coming from Alumni of all the schools. The originality and creativity of Nynne’s portfolio charmed and convinced the entire jury, who included Roberto Riccio - Istituto Marangoni CEO, Giulia Pirovano - Istituto Marangoni Chief Alumni, Industry Liaison and Career Advice Officer, Malcolm McInnes - Istituto Marangoni Group Director of Education e Silvano Vangi – Creative Director & Head-buyer Luxury Womenswear at LUISAVIAROMA. Kunde’s Scandanavian roots play a significant part in her designs, where the clean minimalistic lines are complemented with the vibrant colours and details synonymous with London’s cosmopolitan energy. For the S/S20 collection, Nynne plays with the exaggerated silhouettes from the 1940s fashions modifying details to better facilitate the modern woman. Follow Istituto Marangoni’s social channels to see the development of Nynne’s new collection. WATCH THE LIVE FASHION SHOW ON INSTAGRAM  Tune in on Saturday, Sept 21 at 5:30pm to support Nynne as she presents her collection on the catwalk of Milano Moda Donna.
