The latest addition to Istituto Marangoni, the Miami School of Fashion, partnered with the never-before-seen Arcadia Earth project, designed by award-winning experiential designer, Valentino Vettori, to create an immersive experience for visitors during Art Basel Miami 2018. This series of events took place from 3 Dec to 16 Dec. The key word that carried visitors through this incredible experiential journey, which featured installations curated by Arcadia Earth in partnerships with the artists Tamara Kostianovsky, Cindy Pease Roe, Etty Yaniv and Samuelle Green, on top of the talks organised by Istituto Marangoni, is sustainability. Visitors were inspired to re-think, to make simple behavioural shifts and conscious actions, stimulated by a unique and innovative experiential environment, with the aim of reflecting upon how we can lead a more sustainable life. The Educational Lounge by Istituto Marangoni featured a series of talks on sustainability, fashion and technology. Moreover, from 4 Dec to 9 Dec Istituto Marangoni Miami hosted the exhibition Fashion Evolved: A World of Plastics, a project that brings together internationally renowned designers to serve as advocates for sustainable fashion.
