On July 6, Istituto Marangoni celebrates the young talents from The Milano School of Design with an interactive exhibition at the Super Studio Lounge in via Tortona, Milan, in the earth of the exclusive design district of the city. The exhibition gathers the 12 best projects of third year students from the departments of Visual Design, Product Design, Interior Design and Accessories Design of the 2016/2017 Academic Year. Aurora Meccanica collective and Visual Design department developed a giant light cube, inside of which the best design projects were showcased through a series of interactive devices that allowed attendants to inquire the project developments and inspirations. Visual Design students Ivan Leplevskiy, Katsiaryna Piliutsik and Elena Sgambati, starting from their own ideas, reflected on the importance of this discipline, with the aid of static images, videos, graphic and interactive designs. Interior Design students Emily Von Wachter, Kateryna Nekhorosha and Giorgia Baroni combined interior architecture with the fashion world, designing an ideal discoclub for maison Martin Margiela. Natalia Suarez Lopez, Mari Mussakhanova and Anna Shu from the Product Design course developed a project called “New Materials for New Ideas”, using cutting-edge materials to create innovative objects. Accessories Design students Pham Thi Nhung, Rosalie Goess and Nun Samanworakit worked on three different accessories: a shoe prototype, a “punk bag” and, in collaboration with the Premiata brand, a pair of urban-trail sneakers. A jury of school directors and industry professionals selected the four best projects: Ivan Leplevskiy (Visual Design), Giorgia Baroni (Interior Design), Natalia Suarez Lopez (Product Design) and Nun Samanworakit (Accessories Design).
