THE PARIS SCHOOL OF FASHION @MONTE-CARLO FASHION WEEK
For the third consecutive year, The Paris School of Fashion has taken part to Monte Carlo Fashion Week, the event promoted by the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode since 2012, aiming at promoting creativity through the involvement of international fashion federations, institutions, and designers from all over the world.
The theme of the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week “Young, Talented, International, Emerging, Sustainable and Innovative” was presented by Istituto Marangoni with a lecture by Valerie Berdah-Levy, School Director of Paris, about fashion education in the world and with a specific focus on France. The speech was followed by Rahul Mishra’s one, Indian designer and Istituto Marangoni Alumus and Brand Ambassador, who shared his approach towards sustainable fashion processes, explaining how his company works in India, using traditional textiles and hand-made embroidery.
Because of his sustainable ethical approach that marks his brand, Rahul Mishra was awarded the Monte Carlo Fashion Award - Sustainable and Ethical Brand while Istituto Marangoni was awarded the Monte Carlo Fashion Award –Education because of the support that has always been granting to young talents.
The Paris School of Fashion was represented at MCFW by four talented students: Mariana Salvador Chavez, Enrica Greco, Marwa Molato and Tanya Dyagileva who showcased their collections during a beautiful fashion show on May 18th, together with Rahul Mishra who presented his new SS2019 collection.

It a very important opportunity for our students to enhance their talent and get in touch with the fashion industry” comments Valerie Berdah-Levy, School Director of Paris.
