Nicola
Brognano
Nicola Brognano is a fashion designer and creative director, well-known for his former tenure as Creative Director at Bluemarine and for the current one as Creative Director of 7 for All Mankind.
Following his passion for Fashion, he moved to Milan where he studied Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni Milano. After graduating in 2011, Nicola immediately joined the prestigious Giambattista Valli Maison. His talent and skills quickly emerge within the prêt-à-porter and haute couture divisions of the Maison and are noticed by Dolce & Gabbana that hire the young designer to work on the Alta Moda line. 2015 is an important year for Nicola, as he launches his eponymous brand Brognano with its feminine, romantic and eclectic feel. Nicola plays with the reinterpretation of men's daywear through feminine details and fabrics to explore two opposite worlds that can be merged together. Very soon, Nicola's creations become the affirmation of his talent which is confirmed in June 2016 when he wins the Who is On Next? contest, a project organized by Altaroma in collaboration with Vogue Italia, whose aim is the scouting and promotion of young creative talents on the national and international fashion scene.
The year 2019 marks another fundamental step in the young designer's skyrocketing career as he is selected and announced as the new creative director of Bluemarine. During his creative direction, which would last until 2023, Nicola was able to interpret Blumarine's DNA, re-proposing the brand in an original and contemporary key. In 2025, he was appointed the new creative director of the premium denim label 7 For All Mankind.

As for my entry into this world, if we can already call it the fashion world, one of the memories I am most attached to is undoubtedly my first day at Istituto Marangoni. I remember the emotion of that moment perfectly: for the first time, I felt that I had truly entered the life I had always imagined myself living.
