On May 5, 2017, the fashion system will meet at the eight edition of Ixel Moda in Cartagena, Colombia, a major fashion event centered around the theme: "Create, design, make, market, sell". Istituto Marangoni International Brand Ambassador Cristina Morozzi will attend the convention with a lecture about how to “Succeed in a non-conventional world”. Ixel Moda, The Latin American Biennial Congress of Fashion, is a major Fashion event in Colombia and stands out for the importance given to both the academic and the business & development component of Fashion. Scheduled for May 5-6, 2017, the event will bring hundreds of fashion specialists to the conference centre of the prestigious Hotel Las Américas in central Cartagena – Colombia, to discuss Fashion integrity looking into all the stages of the creative process, from the idea to the retail shop. Very special guests will be illustrating and discussing effects, challenges and opportunities of innovation for the industry. Among these, Cristina Morozzi, Istituto Marangoni’s International Brand Ambassador. The expert will be giving a lectio magistralis titled: "Éxito en un mundo No Convencional” where, mainly focusing on product design, she will share with participants her knowledge and perception about how, starting from innovation, success can be achieved in an unconventional way. During her long-standing career as a journalist, writer and curator of design, fashion and architecture, Cristina Morozzi has been cleverly juggling art, fashion, and design. She has worked with fashion houses of the likes of Ferragamo and Moreschi and she has curated many exhibitions especially at the Triennale Design Museum in Milano. She is the author of several books, including the latest Terrific Design and Terrific Fashion published by Sole 24 Ore Cultura.
