Graduated cum laude in Fashion Product & Production Management from Istituto Marangoni Milano, Sharon Ezra has been one of the first entrepreneurs to obtain an Italian Startup Visa, which is issued by the Government to non-EU citizens who wish to develop innovative business projects in Italy.
In support of Italian craftsmanship and the highest expression of Made in Italy, Israeli designer Sharon Ezra has decided to stay in Italy and start up Quattrocento, a brand new eyewear label launched and developed in partnership with Eugenio Pugliese.
Before a collaboration with Cieffe in the development of the clothing brand Numerozeta between 2012 and 2014, the young entrepreneur from Tel Aviv had also served as a Design R & D Manager at Costume National in Milano; she has now decided to make the most of her creative talent in the Italian eyewear industry.
Quattrocento is an exclusive on line brand for eyewear - 100% Made in Italy and fully customizable. Sharon Ezra is in charge of the design and development of the product, while Eugenio Pugliese manages the trade aspects; As regards production, they rely on small Italian craft businesses, whereas concerning web development and the implementation of advanced technologies, Quattrocento collaborates with brilliant startups in Tel Aviv IT scene.
Three months after the launch, Quattrocento has sold 300 eyeglasses in Europe and is now preparing to expand internationally towards US, Dubai and South Africa.
