English and EU domiciled students may apply to the Student Loans Company (SLC) for a loan towards the cost of their tuition fees. Full information can be found here. Students are only liable for repayment after completion of study and the repayment schedule is dependent on individual earnings.
Eligible students from the EU and EEA commencing their programme in October 2020 are able to apply for a Student Loan that will be payable throughout the duration of their studies. During the coronavirus pandemic student loans will continue to be paid even if student(s) need to start their programme online due to coronavirus restrictions. However, students will need to arrive in the UK as soon as they are able and it is safe to do so. These funding arrangements will not continue for new students commencing their programme after the 2020 intake when EU and EEA students will no longer be eligible to apply for student loans.
Student Finance for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
Different arrangements apply in the other devolved nations of the UK: Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. If you are a student domiciled in one of these countries, you should be aware that you may receive only partial, or no tuition fee loan to support your studies. Before applying, you should contact the relevant funding authority in your home country to discuss this to ensure you are able to cover the cost of your preferred programme.
The Milano, Firenze and Paris Schools
Loans are available only to students or guarantors who receive an income in Italy or in France.
The Fashion Schools of Milano, Firenze and Paris, in collaboration with a well-known bank, offer a loan service for the payment of school tuition fees. This service is subject to the acceptance by Istituto Marangoni of the application made by the candidate and subject to his/her payment of the enrolment fee, according to the details specified on the application form. The concession or denial of the loan is at the sole discretion of the bank.
