Tuesday At Istituto Marangoni With Nouf Alsulaimani

ISTITUTO MARANGONI RIYADH WELCOMED FASHION DESIGNER AND CREATIVE STRATEGIST NOUF ALSULAIMANI FOR A NEW SESSION OF ITS MONTHLY TALK SERIES, TUESDAY AT ISTITUTO MARANGONI.

Renowned for her multidisciplinary approach to fashion, Nouf guided the audience through the realities of building a career that extends beyond design, highlighting how creative foundations can evolve into management, strategic, and leadership roles. The conversation offered valuable insights into how fashion professionals can navigate the industry by understanding the intersection between design, branding, and business in an increasingly competitive and dynamic landscape.

Nouf opened the session by challenging the common perception that a fashion career is limited to becoming a designer. She explained that while design is often the starting point, the industry itself operates as a broader ecosystem that requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and business awareness. From concept development to brand positioning, every stage demands collaboration between creative and managerial disciplines.

She also outlined the diverse career paths available within the field, from fashion design, research, pattern making, and 3D design to roles in merchandising, buying, visual display, communication, event management, and marketing, encouraging students to explore the full spectrum of opportunities the industry offers.

Adaptability - Nouf noted - remains essential for long-term growth in fashion. The ability to translate creativity into strategy, and vision into execution, defines the professionals who successfully evolve within the industry.

ISTITUTO MARANGONI RIYADH HOSTS THIRD EDITION OF “TUESDAY AT ISTITUTO MARANGONI” WITH SARA GABBIONI, EXPERIENCE & STRATEGY DESIGN LEAD AT ACCENTURE SONG

Istituto Marangoni Riyadh welcomed Sara Gabbioni for the third session of its monthly talk series, Tuesday at Istituto Marangoni.

With more than eight years of global design experience, Sara specializes in customer‑centric research and journey design across both digital and spatial touchpoints. She guided the audience through the fashion customer journey: from the first contact with the brand to the purchase and after‑sales service.

Through numerous examples and case histories, Sara showed how brands today must build a coherent and well‑structured ecosystem that engages consumers at every step of the journey. In this process, the store — both physical and digital — plays a fundamental role not only in attracting consumers but also in fostering loyalty.

Sara also illustrated the main consumer archetypes, identifying the key characteristics of each. It was a dynamic session that actively involved participants, making them co‑protagonists of the talk.
