Istituto Marangoni Riyadh becomes a Branch University
This initiative has been made possible through the collaboration of the Ministry of Culture, the Saudi Fashion Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Council of Universities' Affairs (CUA), the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), and the Ministry of Commerce.
A landmark achievement for creative higher education in the Kingdom: the launch of Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programmes at Istituto Marangoni Riyadh reflects a shared commitment between Saudi Institutions and Istituto Marangoni to develop world-class education, nurture local talent, and support the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030.
The meeting held at the Ministry of Culture, at the presence of His Highness Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Culture; His Excellency Mr. Hamed M. Fayez, the Vice Minister of Culture, Burak Cakmak, CEO of Fashion Commission and Stefania Valenti, Managing Director of Istituto Marangoni, marked a defining milestone in Istituto Marangoni’s development in the Kingdom.
Istituto Marangoni extends its sincere appreciation to His Highness Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Culture, whose vision and leadership continue to drive the growth of Saudi Arabia's cultural and creative sectors, to His Excellency Mr. Hamed M. Fayez, Vice Minister of Culture, for his support to this significant project, and to the Saudi Fashion Commission, guided by CEO Burak Cakmak, who has constantly supported and promoted this strategical partnership from the beginning, with the goal to advance specialized fashion education and create pathways for future generations of Saudi creative talent.
The institution also acknowledges the essential role of the Ministry of Education and the Council of Universities' Affairs (CUA), whose approval enables Istituto Marangoni Riyadh to operate as a Branch University and offer internationally oriented Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree programmes within the Kingdom.
Special recognition is extended to the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) for its ongoing contribution to positioning Riyadh as a leading destination for education, innovation and cultural development, creating an environment in which global academic institutions can thrive.
Istituto Marangoni further expresses its gratitude to H.E. Dr. Eiman Al Mutairi, Vice Minister of Commerce and CEO of the Saudi Business Center, for supporting an ecosystem that encourages international educational investment and fosters sustainable growth, innovation and global collaboration.
