Short courses.
Study, Explore, Experience.

Study the method. Explore the city. Experience the life.

More than short courses, these programmes are an invitation to experience creativity firsthand. Over a few inspiring weeks, students are introduced to the world of fashion, design, beauty, business and art while living an authentic international experience, exploring museums, creative districts and cultural landmarks, and discovering what it truly means to study at the prestigious locations in Milan, Florence, London, Paris and Dubai at Istituto Marangoni.

These short courses have been created for curious and motivated students who wish to explore what creative disciplines truly involve, understand the meaning of practices such as fashion communication or design thinking, and engage with the distinctive Istituto Marangoni Method for the first time.

A first taste of Creative Life Abroad: is an International Short Course the Right First Step?

Istituto Marangoni’s Short Courses are designed to offer young creative talents their first meaningful introduction to fashion, design, beauty, business and art, within a structured, inspiring and carefully supervised international environment.

More than short-term programmes, these courses represent a valuable educational experience that combines learning, cultural discovery and personal growth.

Innovation and new technologies play a central role, particularly in the short courses in design: students are encouraged to experiment with emerging digital tools and harness the potential of Artificial Intelligence to expand their creative vision, explore new expressive boundaries and develop a forward‑looking mindset.

Over a few weeks, students are introduced to the core principles of creative disciplines through engaging, practice-oriented lessons inspired by Istituto Marangoni’s renowned teaching approach. These courses are thoughtfully developed to help students explore their interests, develop confidence and gain early exposure to the creative industries, supporting participants and families in making informed choices about future educational paths. Equally important is the experience beyond the classroom.

Cultural and Social Activities

Each programme includes a rich calendar of cultural and social activities, allowing students to discover the host City through guided museum visits, walking tours and creative experiences, and curated visits to showrooms and renowned boutiques, where they can engage directly with Industry Partners.

European Cities become living classrooms, where art, culture, heritage and contemporary creativity come together in a safe and stimulating setting.

Students are welcomed with a dedicated social event hosted in one of the city’s prestigious venues—such as the Gucci Garden.

Their cultural exploration then continues with curated visits to Pitti Immagine, Palazzo Strozzi, the Gucci Museum, and the Ferragamo Museum.

For every course session, the school hosts dedicated moments (such as a breakfast or a small networking event) for students. In addition to these in-person activities, students also have full access to the school’s digital platforms, including the section dedicated to partnerships and special discounts for museums, cinemas, and theatres.

Depending on chosen the study area, students work on a real project with brands like Selfridges and Miu Miu and can produce a real photo shoot, collaborating on set with a team of professional make‑up artists.

They also take part in visits to selected retail stores, where the in‑store team delivers a dedicated masterclass on the collection, mood, materials, and more.

Choosing a short course in Dubai means experiencing two inspiring weeks in a vibrant, international environment designed to spark creativity. The programme begins with a friendly introduction session for all participants, a relaxed moment that helps students connect and immediately feel part of the Community. Each study area is then offered a dedicated field trip to a location carefully selected to inspire the project they will develop during the course, providing real-world insight into the city’s creative and cultural landscape.

The experience concludes with final presentations and a simple yet meaningful diploma Ceremony, celebrating the skills acquired and the journey completed in one of the most dynamic cities in the world.
