Gilda Ambrosio is well known in Italy and abroad as both an influencer and the co-founder, with Giorgia Tordini, of The Attico, a womenswear brand celebrated for its bold and distinctive style.

Born and raised in Naples, Gilda developed a passion for fashion and art from a young age. This passion led her to move to Milan, where she graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni Milano Fashion. After completing her studies, she started her career in the fashion industry, working as a consultant for various brands, magazines, and street-style icons. Gilda's bold and eclectic style quickly propelled her into the limelight, earning her status as one of the IT Girls of the moment and often capturing attention as a key guest at fashion shows.

In 2016, Gilda teamed up with Giorgia Tordini to found The Attico. Their collaboration gave rise to iconic pieces that redefine feminine style and aesthetics by blending traditional elements with a modern and daring twist. Their collections gained attention and admiration from global stars and celebrities, including Rihanna, Zendaya, Hailey Bieber, Margot Robbie, and Vittoria Ceretti. In a short time, The Attico achieved international acclaim and secured distribution through major retailers and stockists worldwide. Notably, in 2023, The Attico made its official debut on the SS23 calendar of Milan Fashion Week.

Gilda's influence in the fashion industry was recognized when Forbes named her among the 30 Under 30 most influential personalities in Europe in 2018. Since 2017, she has also been a member, alongside Giorgia, of the prestigious BOF 500 list, which showcases the most influential figures in the global fashion industry. Furthermore, in 2021, Gilda collaborated with Istituto Marangoni on the "Discover Your Talent" mentorship project dedicated to first-year students in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, and Fashion Business.
