Ruizi Shi is a young Chinese Fashion Designer and owner of the brand and store SHUR RUITZ started in Chonqing, China, in 2013. Although she is a womenswear designer, many of her pieces are cut dismissing traditional gender boundaries, as she designs for both men and women with a neutral frame of mind. Ruizi graduated in Fashion Design Womenswear from Istituto Marangoni Milano in 2012, enhancing her academic training with a “sandwich” period of study in London. The same year, she was selected to feature at several shows, including London Fashion Week 2012, where she showcased her fresh graduate talent. Her collections have also been featured in Vogue China, Baazar China and many other fashion magazines. She has also been invited to showcase in China Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Guangdong Fashion Week and Hong Kong Fashion week. Her minimal contemporary pieces are sold in all the major cities in China, and overseas in Japan and London. SHUR RUITZ proposes collections made only using organic fabric and supporting green production in China. Active supporter of the ideal of a confident, independent and brave entrepreneur woman, Ruizi has been promoting Italian fashion heritage in Chongqing with the local TV channel and press.
