"Sustainable Creative Art: Inspiration from Nature": International Conference in Dubai

First Edition of the International SCIN Conference about sustainability and aesthetics within the creative fields.

IEREK and Istituto Marangoni Dubai are proud to announce the inaugural International Conference on Sustainable Creative Art: Inspiration from Nature - (SCIN)' scheduled to take place in Dubai from the 22d to the 24th of April 2025.


Conference topics

The central theme of the event will be the harmonious coexistence of sustainability and aesthetics within the fields of graphic design and fashion. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on how the fashion industry is leading the way in adopting sustainable practices, from utilizing ethically sourced materials to implementing circular fashion models.

The natural world as a source of creative inspiration

The beauty of nature becomes the source of inspiration for the creative arts, and it is brought to life through photography, painting, and oil drawings. A special focus will be dedicated to Mural Art and Street Culture as Agents of positive Social Change within Communities, to explore their impact on past and present trends in fashion, and on Society and Culture.

Furthermore, there will be a visionary exploration on the immersivity of Fashion Shows as form of Performative Art, touching cross-disciplinarity with Art and Design fields.

An Avant-garde venue crafted by visionary designers: The Museum of The Future in Dubai

The Grand Opening of the Conference will be held at the Museum of the Future (MOTF).

With its floating and circular form, the building is a gateway to a future world, combining a futuristic design with advanced architectural and engineering technologies.

The Museum of the Future is an initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation, which has been created with the aim of moving Dubai towards becoming a leading City of the future. The Foundation builds a cohesive innovation ecosystem including accelerator programs, incubators, labs, regulatory sandboxes, and knowledge platforms.
