A project with Kartell for Design students
The students of Master’s in Digital Design for Immersive Experiences and Digital Art Direction courses had the opportunity to visit the Kartell museum, where photographs, documents, Ferruccio Laviani's permanent exhibition and famous objects and products that tell the history of Italian design are on display.
The students had the opportunity to take a close look at iconic pieces from the history of Italian design. But that wasn’t all; they also immersed themselves in the values and philosophy that guide the Kartell company, best known for its role in the furniture design sector. During the visit, the young designers had the opportunity to meet Kartell's Marketing Director, who gave them valuable insights into the sector and the iconic pieces on display in the museum, answering all their questions and curiosities.

During the visit, the students were excited to witness the official launch of the project brief that will actively engage them in the upcoming months, offering them the opportunity to apply the skills they acquired during the training course and to work for a real client for the first time.
At the end of the experience, the students were enthusiastic and ready to tackle the project they will be involved in during the second semester, affirming the importance and added value of visiting museums and exhibitions and getting to touch the pieces that have marked the history of Italian design.
Stay tuned to find out how the students will tackle this challenge and the final results of the collaboration between the School of Design and Kartell!
