Ottavia Molinari awarded at Milano Moda Graduate 2019

The fifth edition of Milano Moda Graduate, an event promoted by Camera Nazionale della Moda, brings the best talents of Italian fashion schools back on the catwalk; among this year’s finalists also two young designers from Istituto Marangoni: Pietro Fadda and Ottavia Molinari.
Designed as an opportunity to give visibility and credit to the next generations of fashion, the adventure of Milano Moda Graduate ended with a final act on the catwalks at BASE on June 14, where guests had the opportunity to admire the collections of 8 students, selected from the best fashion schools, including IED, NABA and Accademia della Moda.
The jury, chaired by Angela Missoni, awarded Francesco Murano (IED Milan) with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Award, while the young designer of Istituto Marangoni, Ottavia Molinari, received the Special Award from Vogue Talents. Ottavia will be the protagonist of an exclusive editorial article that will be published in Vogue Italia.
Participation in Milano Moda Graduate also allowed all the finalists to take part in special workshops and to receive specialised mentoring from prestigious industry personalities. In particular, they discovered the secrets behind the creation of the best Made In Italy fabrics thanks to tours to important textile companies, such as Albini, Taroni, Clerici and Limontra.
